I had the opportunity to capture and creatively edit ResilienTOgether 2025, a dynamic celebration of art, performance, and community centered around the theme “Disrupt by Design.” Tasked with creating non-linear event recaps, I was challenged to break away from traditional formats and reflect the spirit of disruption through my edits. From thought-provoking conversations to bold visual art and unforgettable performances, my work highlighted the energy, diversity, and creative boldness that made this event truly unforgettable.

I captured the vibrant atmosphere of the Newcomer Artists Mentor Matching Mixer, an event hosted by the Toronto Arts Council in partnership with Neighbourhood Arts Network. Designed to support newcomer and refugee artists, the event connected them with established mentors in Toronto’s arts community. My coverage focused on highlighting the energy, diversity, and meaningful interactions that made this event a celebration of artistic connection and inclusion.
